A DEVON and Cornwall Special Constable is due in court tomorrow charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

SC Superintendent Stephen Corcoran, aged 54, from Liskeard, is due before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on June 18.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: “He is charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place in Liskeard in July 2023.”

SC Supt Corcoran is currently suspended from duty.
