A THERAPY pony made a visit to a residential home.

Sweetpea, a Shetland pony, was taken along to Appleby Lodge in Kelly Bray to meet the residents.

Lea Petherbridge, the activities co-ordinator at the home, said the visit to the home by the pony, from Collytown Therapy Ponies, was aimed at promoting the well-being of the residents and enriching their experiences.

The residents were able to meet Sweetpea as they sat in their chairs.

Sweetpea is based at Collytown Therapy Ponies at Bere Alston in Devon.
