THE final event of the primary schools cross-country season has kicked off at Liskeard today (March 1). 

Students have laced up their shoes and taken to the course — Year 3 and 4 girls got the event underway, followed by Year 3 and 4 boys. 

Crowds cheer as the Year 3 and 4 boys give it their all as their race begins.

As the next race gets underway, cheers of ‘Go Menheniot!’ can be heard from the crowds, keeping spirits high despite the grey weather.
