ST CLEER maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a deserved 3-1 victory over their Ivybridge counterparts in the Under-14 Raleigh division of the Wrigley's Devon Junior and Minor League.
However, it was the visitors who struck first with an early goal, with the forward breaking through a static defence to hit a cooly-taken lob over stand-in keeper Josh Besley.
The Saints bounced back almost immediately when the referee awarded a penalty for a push in the box. Connor Wilson confidently placed the ball wide of the keeper to bring the scores level.
