THE Looe 10-Miler takes place tomorrow (Sunday), leaving the Millpool car park promptly at 10am.
The annual charity run, organised by local running club Looe Pioneers, has gained in popularity since it was first held five years ago, and has the reputation of being ‘hilly and hellish’.
Registration is from 8.30am to 9.30am in the Millpool Centre, and this year’s event will be raising funds for public access defibrillators for West Looe and Hannafore.
This week the Cornish Times has pictures of Looe Pioneers and East Cornwall Harriers at Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service’s half-marathon at Lanhydrock and at the Saltram Snowflake run in Plymouth.
See next week’s paper for pictures from the 10-Miler.
