One more win will guarantee promotion for Saltash after this win over a team still threatening them.

Two go up from the division without the need for a play-off and that looks like Saltash and Crediton, although not necessarily in that order.

Withycombe are third but have now dropped back to 17 points behind with 20 to play for.

Mathematically it isn't in the bag yet, but for all practical purposes Saltash can look forward to Western Counties rugby again next season.

Saltash were 21-7 up at the break and were briefly pegged back to 21-14 after Sam Manning went over from a line-out.

Max Vennables, Ryan Crookshank and Will Morton were the first-half try scorers for Saltash.Tries by Crookshank and Steve Hillman put the game to bed in the second half.
