LISKEARD Athletic welcome old rivals Bodmin Town tonight in SWPL Premier West with both sides needing the points for varying reasons (7.30pm).

Athletic have enjoyed a near-perfect start to the season, having won 12 and drawn one of their 13 outings so far as they sit three points clear of nearest challengers St Austell with a game in-hand.

They will start as firm favourites against a new-look Bodmin side that are five points clear of second bottom Sticker, but in poor recent form after several departures.

A pitch inspection is set for later this afternoon to ensure the Lux Park pitch is fit for play.
