LOOE GOLF CLUB

LOOE member David Tout, and his wife Wendy from Staddon Heights, won the Marquand Tray with an impressive score of 45 points in last weekend's Mixed Open Greensomes, sponsored by WBM Groundworks Ltd.

That points total was equalled by the Looe pair of Andy Allen and Anne Beswetherick, who won the Roy Barriball Memorial Trophy, given to the leading pair from Looe.

The weather was much kinder, and the course was in good condition.

Other prize winners were: Chris Nicholls and Sandy King 43, Martin Nicholls and Hilda McKinley 40, JJ Carr and Glynis Jones, and Pete Drown and Jane Tate 39, and Trevor Frasle and Jax Wailes, and Steve and Penny Drake 38.
