Two Launceston Ladies and Cornwall county players, Wendy Briggs and Jan Harrison, have won through to the national final of the Moroccan Matchplay, pairs better ball competition.

This year the final is played at Woodbury near Exeter. They have beaten pairs, including men, from Trethorne, Fingle Glen and Bowood on the way to being South West winners.
