Bodmin Town 4 Torpoint Athletic 2
Torpoint Athletic had to play the entire second half with 10 men at Bodmin Town on Wednesday night after having goalkeeper Jason Peters sent off.
The Carlsberg South West Peninsula League premier division game was goalless when Peters clashed with Bodmin right back Sam Hillson two minutes before half-time and was shown a straight red card.
Former Torpoint favourite Adam Carter scored the resulting penalty and Bodmin’s new signing, Billy Tucker from Bideford, made it 2-0 on the hour.
Kirk Smith reduced the arrears before Billy Hopcroft made it 3-1 to Bodmin.
Josh Tattersall then got a second goal for Torpoint three minutes from time before Sam Matthews made it 4-2 in stoppage time.
