Saltash United are through to the third round of the FA Vase for the first time in their history after winning 3-1 at fellow Peninsula League premier division side Ivybridge Town.
The Ashes got off to the perfect start with a goal from striker Sam Hughes after only five minutes and it was 2-0 in the 33rd minute courtesy of top scorer Ryan Richards.
Hughes notched his second goal five minutes into the second half as Saltash cruised towards an impressive win, which was only soured by the sending off of young midfield man Henry Wilson after a melee.
Dave Youldon pulled a goal back for Ivybridge but it proved to be only a consolation.
Elsewhere in the FA Vase, Ban extra time goal from debutant Ed Wilton gave Bodmin Town a hard-earned 1-0 win over Alresford Town at a wet and windy Priory Park.
And St Austell maintained their impressive Vase record with a 2-1 away win at Cheddar, courtesy of goals from Neil Slateford and Mark Goldsworthy.
Falmouth Town went out 3-1 after extra time at Hamworthy United, while Tavistock slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Willand Rovers despite a Jack Crago goal.
