SALTASH United have missed out on promotion to the Southern League after a disappointing 2-0 play-off defeat at Bristol Manor Farm.

The one-league-higher hosts took the lead with a stunning long-range shot by Aron Robbins into the top corner of the net after 34 minutes.

And they ultimately sealed victory with a second from Jayden Nielsen just after the hour mark.

Despite the defeat, Saltash player-manager Danny Lewis and his players can be very proud of their efforts this season.
