Saltash United have been rocked by the news that manager Martin Burgess has decided to leave Kimberley Stadium.
Burgess has done a superb job at Saltash and the club are currently in second place in the Premier Division a point adrift of leaders Ivybridge with two games in hand.
Burgess' parting has been an amicable one but he admitted: 'I haven't been enjoying it this season. The players have different priorities and squad availability, collectively as a group, was not good enough and I found myself chasing my tail on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays in an effort to get a team out on the pitch.'
Assistant player-manager Aaron Cusack will take charge in the dug-out as the club survey their options.
