Young runners will be on the starting line later today (Friday) for the fifth and final fixture in the Primary Schools Cross Country league.

The event organised by the East Cornwall Harriers and sponsored by The Cornish Times sees hundreds of girls and boys compete on challenging outdoor courses.

Today’s event will be held on farmland opposite the Liskeard School and Community College fields.

A presentation evening, when individual and school team winners will be announced, will be held later in the year.
