Volunteers are needed for the Tamar Valley Centre Café.
The café opens every Thursday morning from 10am to 1pm, offering tea, coffee and biscuits. Everyone is welcome, including well-behaved dogs. It provides a well-earned post-walk stop for Walking for Health walkers who generally finish their walks at the Centre.
Due to the success of the café, more volunteers are needed.
Coralie Barrow, Development Officer for the Tamar Valley AONB, said: ‘If you think you may be able to help, even if it’s only once a month, we would love to hear from you. It’s a great way to meet new people in a small, friendly environment.’
All proceeds go to Tamar TLC, who raise, manage and distribute funds for the benefit of the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
