ON behalf of the Tamar Trotters, Ed Buckingham presented a thank you cheque to the Saltash Community Fire Station.

A Trotters spokesperson said: ‘This was in recognition of turning out in foul weather at the Saltash Half-Marathon in May. Working alongside the marshals from the Trotters, they helped the runners, en masse, merge from a busy junction in safety. Thanks guys for helping us.’
