STEREOPHONICS have been announced as the latest superstar headliners to play the Eden Sessions 2022.
The acclaimed Welsh rock band will appear at the home of the world-famous Biomes on Tuesday July 5, 2022.
It will be their second appearance at Eden following their Session in 2019 - hailed by the band as an amazing venue with a fantastic audience.
Stereophonics are celebrating 25 years together and earlier this month (March 2022) released an acclaimed new album Oochya! which entered the charts at number one and became their 8th number one album.
The new album follows Stereophonics’ previous, entitled Kind, which went to number one in the UK album charts in 2019, outselling nearest competitor Kanye West by more than 10,000 copies.
The release of Oochya! also sees Stereophonics, one of Britain’s greatest live bands, return to the road for what is sure to be another eagerly anticipated sold-out UK Arena tour.
The unmistakable sound of the Stereophonics is underpinned by the signature voice of front man Kelly Jones. They are one of the UK’s most enduring and loved bands and with their latest album, Jones continues to cement his place among the great British songwriters.
Having now achieved eight number one albums, ten top ten albums, 23 Platinum Sales Awards, 8.5 million albums sold in the UK alone, five BRIT nominations and five BRIT Award wins, Stereophonics stand as undeniable giants of British music.
Tickets for Stereophonics at the Eden Project on July 5, 2022, cost £57.50 plus £6.90 booking fee.
Tickets will go on sale to Inside Track Passholders from 10am on Tuesday March 22 to 5pm on Monday March 28. Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Tuesday March 29.
Stereophonics are the latest headliners announced for this year’s Eden Sessions. Already set to play are My Chemical Romance (May 16 and 17), Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (June 15), Nine Inch Nails (June 17 and 18), Diana Ross (June 21), and Bryan Adams (June 29).
In September 2019 the Eden Project and global live events company AEG Presents announced a new partnership, Eden Sessions Ltd, to run the Eden Sessions.
In September last year Volvo Car UK announced a new three-year partnership as the Official Automotive Partner of the Eden Project and the Eden Sessions music concerts, a deal brokered by AEG Global Partnerships.
This long-term collaboration aims to inspire and educate visitors about people’s relationship with the environment and how we can protect the planet to create a safer future.
