Sue Crowall has the job of being volunteer co-ordinator for the Mustard Seed shoe box appeal. As a result of her hard work and the support from local organisations, several hundred will be on their way to Kosovo for the children of the area.
At Delaware school over 90 boxes have been filled and a van was also filled to capacity by boxes given by Metherell Baptist Church, Calstock school, Dimson Day nursery, Gunnislake Christian fellowship, Di and Jack Stinger, Tregadillet primary school, Calstock Fellowship coffee morning, Harrowbarrow primary school, Abbey Church in Tavistock,
She hair fashions in Gunnislake, Kate and Richard Price and friends, Deb Ball and friends from Ginsters, Bristol and West building society in Tavistock and Jill Baird and friends from Plymouth.
The organisers would like to thank all parents and friends involved in providing gifts for the children of Kosovo. In particular they owe a debt of gratitude to the ladies in the shoe department at Trago Mills, Liskeard for providing so many of the empty shoe boxes.
