EAST Cornwall Harriers are doing their bit for the environment by taking part in an activity which originated in Sweden.
Plogging is a combination of jogging and picking up litter which started in Sweden around 2016 and is now taking place in other countries following increased concern about plastic pollution.
The plog will take place next Thursday, September 6, at 6.30pm. The route will cover around six miles around the lanes from Lux Park down to Moorswater, along both sides of the A38, up Pencubit Hill and return past the station back to Lux Park. When a bag is full it is left along the route and collected after to be left at Lux Park entrance where Cornwall Council will arrange for it to be taken away.
