Hundreds of New Year’s Eve revellers took to the streets in traditional Torpoint style to celebrate the beginning of 2024.

Local residents and visitors were seen dressed in a variety of crazy and creative fancy dress outfits and partied in the street leading to the Torpoint ferry. Andy Campfield, who attended the event, said: “The tradition goes from strength to strength after the Covid years which is very positive and long may it last.

“Happy 2024 from Torpoint.”
