Saltash Festival continued this weekend with a free gala outdoor concert on Sunday (July 11), compered by Ian Sterling of Westcountry Television.

The following Sunday (July 18) Saltash is to host a National Waterski race which will feature high-speed racing of up to 100mph. Racing starts at 10.00am and the Mayor will be presenting prizes on Jubilee Green at 2.00pm. The boats will be on display on the Green the Saturday evening.

Sunday is also the day on which the Saltash Rugby Club hosts the Tamar Trotters for their annual seven-mile run.
