THE recent Saltash Music Speech and Drama Festival was a joyful occasion with performers of all ages and various levels.
All participants received constructive and encouraging feedback from either speech adjudicator Rebecca Vines, vocal adjudicator Louse Horrocks, or instrumental adjudicator Nadia Hinson.
The event ran from January 22 to3 February 3 in Saltash Wesley Methodist Church and proved to be another successful and well attended community event.
Some winners from the three specialisations and outstanding performances then took part in the ‘Festival Gala Concert’ on February 3.
A spokesperson said: “The gala concert provided an opportunity to foster community pride, to get inspired by performances and share sense of togetherness.”
Next year’s 33rd annual festival, will take a place from Monday. January 27, to Saturday, February 8, 2025.
The spokesperson added: “If you would like to take part in this event, either as a performer or supporter, please contact Phil Taylor, email [email protected].”
