A LISKEARD man is running three half marathons in 100 days to raise money for mental health - soon after recovering from surgery to remove his appendix.
James Perryman, is set to run three The Derby Ramathon, The Newark Half Marathon and The Great North Run in aid of mental health charity Mind.
James, who is 23 has worked for Mars Petcare since his graduation from Exeter University in 2015. He went to school in Liskeard and Redruth.
He’s aiming to raise £500 for Mind, which provides support for anyone experience mental health problems.
James said: ‘This is one of the toughest, yet most thrilling challenges of my life.
‘Last year, I completed my first half marathon and this year wanted to aim for new heights, and in aid of charity. Knowing the money I raise will be used to improve the lives of people living with mental health problems throughout the UK is amazing.
‘I have only recently recovered from surgery to remove my appendix, but am as determined as ever to complete this challenge.’
