Residents and visitors to Looe will get the chance to meet some important members of their community at tomorrow’s Emergency Service Day. 

On Saturday, August 5, as part of Looe Carnival Week, the public is invited to meet the teams behind some of the area’s most important emergency services. 

Between 10am and 4pm, the public is welcomed to the Quayside Centre, West Looe, where they will be able to meet the teams from the lifeboat, ambulance, fire and rescue, coastguard, police and more! 

Vehicles, boats and equipment used by the services will be on display, with opportunities for visitors to learn about basic life support and have a go at CPR. 

As well as this, there will also be a bar, barbecue and refreshments available for those attending.
