Liskeard-Looe recorded a cracking win over highly-placed Bideford at Lux Park. Perhaps the difference between the sides was that the Cornishmen had the ascendancy in the forwards. Their pack was dominant in tight, line-out and loose and they took two scrums against the head. It was an evenly-contested first quarter, and it was the visitors who struck first with a penalty from fly-half Olly Wickett.

Their hosts got on the board just before the half hour when prop Danny Curgenven stormed over close in after a breakout on the 22 and a pacy three-quarter move.
