A LOCAL business has been praised for providing a welcome dinner for medical staff.

A nurse in Liskeard said she had been touched to be offered a free kebab or pizza by the The Best Kebab shop at the end of her shift.

The nurse said: ’I just went in to get my normal order. I had my badge on, and the man at the counter said “You get a free meal, to say thankyou”.

’I thought it was so kind of him.’

Best Kebab says it is offering an item from the menu to any NHS staff with their badge or ID.
