With the Enterprise class away competing in the Northampton Inland Championships, a somewhat depleted fleet was confronted with light airs and grey misty skies in Looe Bay.
The Mirror class young guns ruled the waves, with Daisy Jaycock and Amber Palfrey, aboard Whatever, claimed the day's top spot.
The two Joes, Palfrey and Jackman, were just beaten to the line by three lengths, followed closely by Alex Richardson and Callum Johns aboard Crabapple.
