Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is encouraging anyone who hasn’t already signed up to its  Bubble Rush to do so as soon as possible as the event is now just a week away.

The Bubble Rush is happening on Saturday, June 3 at Newnham Park, Plympton and is a 5km fun run, walk or jog where participants get covered in different coloured foam and bubbles as they make their way around the route.

The event is open to all ages and is the first Bubble Rush in the Plymouth area.

Those taking part pay to enter which covers the cost of the event and then are encouraged to raise as much money as possible in sponsorship to help the charity continue offering care and support to local families whose child or children suffer with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.

Registration for the event will be open until June 1 at www.chsw.org.uk/bubble
