The actor – best known as The Fonz from the 1970s sitcom Happy Days – spoke to pupils about his own experiences as a child with severe, but undiagnosed, dyslexia. He urged children to do as he had done and follow their dreams, telling them: 'Any time you get a negative thought, tell it goodbye.'
Having visited Brunel School in Saltash on Tuesday, Henry went to Liskeard's Hillfort Primary yesterday.
After meeting junior librarians, he spoke to a whole school assembly, taking questions as he stood among the children.
The actor has written 27 books for children, including the Hank Zipzer series, which was made into a BBC show in which he stars as music teacher Mr Rock.
Henry carries out educational work with the charity, Achievement for All.
