New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Cornwall’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: Curry Garden at Cafe Mundo, 7 Tregenna Hill, St Ives, Cornwall; rated on October 18

• Rated 3: The Engine Room at Titchsborough Hill, Otterham Station, Camelford, Cornwall; rated on October 18

• Rated 0: 12 Beach Road at Newquay, Cornwall; rated on October 18

It means that of Cornwall's 1,615 similar establishments with ratings, 1,278 (79%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
