Grassland machinery being put through its paces at this year’s Grassland UK will have plenty of grass to work with on the event’s demonstration plots thanks to fertiliser sponsored by Mole Valley Farmers.

The farmer-owned business with a branch in Liskeard is supplying a urea and sulphur blend to optimise growth on the 150-acre demonstration plots at the Bath and West Showground event, Shepton Mallet.

Simon Borthwick of MVF said: ‘We want to be involved in producing the best grass possible. The demo plots have to be cut on the day of the event on May 10, so we need fertiliser that can support plenty of growth.’
