Ofsted inspectors have reported that Looe Primary Academy is ‘Good’ in all six areas it inspected.

This follows a previous inspection in September 2016 where the ‘overall effectiveness’ was said to ‘require improvement’. The report highlights the role the Bridge Schools Trust and local governors have played in the school’s improvement and said school leaders, local governors and multi-academy trust leaders had taken decisive action to rectify concerns identified in the previous inspection.

The latest Ofsted report, which followed an inspection this January, praises the headteacher for moulding a strong team of senior and middle leaders and securing high staff morale.
