A PRE-SCHOOL has had help for a rainy day thanks to local shoppers.

Harrowbarrow and Metherell Pre-school has received £4,000 from Tesco after winning the Callington store’s latest Bags of Help community vote.

‘We will be putting this amazing donation towards a new roof,’ said pre-school leader Emma Ferguson. 

‘The roof will cost £6,882, so we are currently fundraising for a further £2,882 to hopefully complete the new roof by Easter.

‘This will make a huge difference to the staff and children of our pre-school. Thanks again to Tesco and all who voted for us.’
