Social A had a good win against Tom Sawyers this week. The only leg which Tom Sawyers won was the first one when Judith Boon beat Margaret Elderbrand 2-0.
Social then won the last five with Jean Bunn beating Julie Knight 2-0, Liz Chalmers beat Hilary Godbolt 2-0, Pat Giles beat Winna Boswell 2-1, June Whitehouse beat Sara Dawe 2-1 and finally Wendy Stevens beat Rina Leeming 2-1 to complete a 5-1 win for Social.

British Legion have taken over the lead in division two this week with their win against Angling A. Pauline Ridd won the first leg against Dawn Palfrey 0-2, Linda Blower beat Lorraine Walters 2-0, Julie Lawford lost to Jenny Jenkins 0-2, Rachel Joslin beat Sharon Bird 2-0, Kate Bracewell beat Anne Chudleigh 2-0 and Tina Dicks lost 0-2 to Thelma Day.
