On Tuesday all the leading teams struggled to pick up points with British Legion winning 5-4 at the Marquee Club; Dobsons 5-4 winners at home to Highwayman while at the White Hart Margaret Cocks won the last singles against Laurie Turner to give the A team a 5-4 win against the B team.

While the other teams were struggling to pick up points Rally Club gained ground on them all with a 9-0 win at the London Inn and Stable Lads were 6-3 winners at home to the River Rats.
