League matches resumed last Tuesday and result reporting etc will return to normal next week. We will take this week to catch up on events that took place in the last century. In the last matches played in 1999 which were the first matches of the second half of the season there were 9-0 wins for British Legion at White Hart A and Rally Club at home to Fintan O'Malleys. Dobsons won 8-1 at the River Rats and there were 6-3 home wins for Stable Lads and London Inn against White Hart B and Marquee Club respectively.

At the end of the first half of the season as well as topping the league table British Legion were also leading in the new trebles competition with 18 wins, White Hart 'B' have 15 wins, Dobsons are on 13 wins with River Rats on 12.

In the race for the Most Wins trophy Mike Cook and Max Facey were unbeaten on 10 wins with Baz Allen, Alan Ruby and Fred King on nine wins each. In the Most Tons Mike Cook also leads with a total of 52 tons with his closest challengers being Mark Sibley with 36 and Baz Allen, Wayne Hutchings and Alan Ruby with 35 tons each.
