Cheesewring A are now league champions for the third season in succession after a 10-1 win at Dobsons last Friday which gives them a total of 207 points with one match left to play.

Securing runners-up spot with one match to play are British Legion who won 9-2 at White Hart B to give them a total of 194 points. In third place are the Highwayman who beat visitors Social Club 11-0 to amass to total of 152 points and only have to gain at least one point from their match at British Legion B to make sure of holding on to that third spot.

The only team that can challenge them for that spot are White Hart B who have two matches left to play and at the moment have a total of 129 points the same as Dobsons. Last Friday saw a close match between the two teams at the bottom with the Market eventually running out 6-5 winners at the Halfway, White Hart A picked up some valuable points with a 9-2 win at British Legion A and Liberal Club are hoping to finish in the top half of the table after winning 8-3 at Cheesewring B.
