A six-year-old boy whose parents bought him a Star Wars selection tube of chocolates for his Christmas stocking, discovered a six inch craft knife inside - instead of a Crunchie bar he had been hoping to eat.

The retractable blade of the knife was out when Thomas Peters went to open the tube. Thomas, of Essex, was staying in Plymouth at the time with his parents. The chocolates had been bought from the Somerfield supermarket in Torpoint. Cadbury's, who produced the selection tube, are now to make a full investigation.
