The following driving offences were dealt with last week by local magistrates.

DRINK DRIVING

LAUREN WILSON, 22, of St Neot, pleaded guilty to driving on the B3254 at Whitstone, Holsworthy on 25 September with 48 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the limit is 35. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Ten points were put on her licence.

SANDOR KIS, 46, of Upper Polmear, Tywardreath, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi on the A3082 St Blazey Road on 28 September with 127 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the limit is 35. He will be sentenced on 11 November and was given an interim driving ban.

DRIVING WITHOUT DUE CARE AND ATTENTION

JOAQUIM DE SOUSA, 67, of Berrycombe Road, Bodmin, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes on Edgcumbe Road, Roche without due care and attention on 7 March. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was banned from driving for 42 days.
