CIVIC leaders from Looe, Saltash, Torpoint and Bodmin joined Liskeard’s mayor and councillors at the annual civic service.

The Royal Naval Association and the Royal British Legion were among many of the town’s organisations represented at the event, which took place at the Wesley Church.

A Town Council spokesperson said: ‘Special thanks must go out to the Royal Air Force cadets, the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from Liskeard who assisted the Reverend Mark Pengelly in the service.’
