ST STEPHENS Church in Saltash was packed as members of the Girl Guide movement joined together in a celebratory Christmas service.

The carol service was attended by Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and members of the Trefoil Guild.

District commissioner Julie Dingle welcomed parents and friends as well as Bill Dent, Saltash mayor’s consort.

During the service, conducted by the Rev Cathy Sigrist, Julia was presented with her commissioner’s badge by county commissioner Jill Jeffs and division commissioner Sarah Robinson.

A 10-year service badge was presented to Kay Gill who runs 1st Saltash Rainbows.
