Ringers at
a festival
ON Saturday October 14, the nine members of St Mary's Church Hand Bell Ringers attended the Lamerton handbell festival. The group, led by Peter Lovell, was formed just over a year ago and this was their first experience of ringing in front of an audience. During the evening each team was assessed on their ringing and St Mary's were delighted to be awarded a joint second certificate in the overall tune ringing performance section with a mark of 91. The group are looking forward to many more happy hours ringing to the glory of God and for the entertainment of others.
