Lewdown took an early lead in this division four encounter courtesy of a Charlie Hughes penalty after a pulling incident in the box. Polperro redressed the balance before half time when Del Palfrey rose majestically to hammer home a perfectly placed header.

Matt King notched up his 18th goal of the season to nudge Polperro ahead in an evenly balanced second period but the scoreline was soon levelled again when Jamie Grimley caught the Polperro 'keeper out of position.

Jamie Lewis, working tirelessly as ever, laid on the Polperro winner for Tony Gosling who snatched the oppurtunity with great relish. This was a sporting encounter well handled by Saltash referee Nigel Park.
