Lewdown, with a stiff wind behind them took the game to Callington who were forced to play in their own half for much of the half, but Callington did create the better chances but Ruck and A Shorten were unable to take any of them. It took 30 minutes before Lewdown scored and then they got three before half time.
Callington needed an early goal to get back into the game in the second half but were unable to do so and when Ruck missed when well placed it was just not going to be Callington's day. Andy Moy got Callington's goal with 10 minutes to go and at last we saw what could have happened as Callington got at the Lewdown defence for the first time but they left it too late and Lewdown remain a bit of a bogey side to Callington.
