A National Lottery funded project to combat social isolation through art is expanding to reach new, rural communities.

The Art for All project has been running for two years in Tavistock and Okehampton and, following a successful funding application, is now setting up new groups in South East Cornwall.

Art for All classes will begin running in Callington and Launceston from September.  They are open to local people, young and old, who could be at risk of loneliness.  The classes are led by experienced art tutors from West Devon Art Workshops.

They will cover a wide variety of art and craft techniques in four session blocks, costing £8 for four sessions. Family sessions will be run on Saturdays at least three times a year.
