A young woman was left ’shaken and distressed’ after being attacked by a man in the early hours of the morning.
Police today revealed details of the incident in Torpoint on Friday, August 19.
It happened at around 3.30am in Marine Drive, Torpoint, when a young woman was pushed to the floor by a man.
She managed to push the man off and get free but was ’very shaken up and distressed by the incident’, say detectives.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident. In particular they would like to speak to two men who have been seen on CCTV in the area. One young man spoke to the victim, and another older man wearing a dressing gown spoke to her shortly after that.
