The woman who died following a collision involving eight vehicles on the A38 near Glynn Valley on Sunday has been named.
Jennifer Parsons, aged 64, died shortly after arriving at hospital following the incident which happened at around 5.45pm on the Eastbound carriageway of the A38 approaching Trago Mills.
A 62-year-old male rider of a Honda motorcycle and the pillion passenger, Jennifer Parsons, were both taken to Derriford Hospital. Mrs Parsons died shortly after. The man is currently in a critical condition.
The incident also involved seven other vehicles, the drivers and occupants of which suffered minor injuries. Vehicles involved were a silver Citroen C3 VTI, two silver VW Golf cars, a white VW Polo, a blue Honda Accord estate, a blue VW Touran and a silver Peugeot van.
The scene was subject to a forensic collision investigation.
